Maria Ketterhagen
I am a personal trainer and group fitness coach with a love for strength training. My focus is helping other’s achieve pain free movement and life longevity. When I’m not in the gym, I’m hiking with my pup, going to concerts or traveling.
This Kettlebell Movement Workshop will cover the technique of fundamental kettlebell movements as well as the basics of resistance training. In the training you will learn how to cue proper movement and adjust exercises for individual capabilities.
The Program Options
Option 1 - The Workshop (Open to Everyone)
Time Commitment: Four 1-Hour Sessions over the course of 2 weeks
What You’ll Learn: During this 4 class workshop you will learn a number of kettlebell movements, how to do them safely and how to modify for injury and ability. You will walk away feeling confident entering any kettlebell class.
Requirements: None, this workshop is open and accessible to everyone
Option 2 - The Training (For Personal Trainers + Yoga Teachers)
Time Commitment: Four 2-Hour Sessions over the course of 2 weeks
What You’ll Learn: During this 4 class training you will learn a number of kettlebell movements, how to do them safely and how to modify for injury and ability. You will also learn how to sequence a class, instruct others through kettlebell movements, the benefits and essential safety considerations.
Requirements: You must have your personal training certificate or your 200-hour yoga teacher training to complete this course.
