Aaron Ogden
Whether flowing through the ‘outer’ asanas or simply sitting in
stillness, Aaron finds the art of yoga to be endless in its ‘inner’ teachings and insights. As a young child, Aaron always felt pulled toward a meditative practice; he often looked forward to the time where he would close his eyes and lay in quietude, connecting to the inner recesses of his mind and spirit. This was the most exciting and piercing experience he had discovered; it was so beautifully honest. When he later found the practice of yoga asana, he fell in love with life.
Aaron has been part of the Yoga Pearl family since the early days working at the front desk. He began his teaching journey at the studio with Uma Kleppinger's DharmaYoga teacher training in 2006. Aaron also completed his 200hr Yoga Alliance teacher training with Ganga White and Tracey Rich at the renowned White Lotus Foundation near his hometown in Santa Barbara in 2007. He has found inspiration and depth of teaching from many yogis of the world throughout the past decade of practice.
Aaron teachesa meditative class emphasizing union of breath and movement, based on the many systems of yoga. His classes encourage attention to body/breath alignment with ease and heartfelt humor, leading each student through a safe and unique flow. Come investigate and have fun! |
